Hey, I haven't updated this since Family Night.
I know that everyone, inculding me, must be really affected by Phua.
I guess that we could think of this is different perspectives, but I think that Mrs. Ng is going to applaude us for our brave expidition on the road to rebelion.
Just kidding.
Perspective number 1: It was all miscommunication
again.
Well, the proposal did fall through because of the lack of communication. We thought that we were supposed to do this but Phua thought that we were supposed to do that. You know what I'm talking about. All I can say is: Are we robots? Why does she always think that we know what she's thinking about? Somehow, we can never read her mind anyway. :p
Pespective number 2: Maybe we're a little too artistic.
I have to think that we did over- do the decorating. Perhaps that's why it looked like vandalism when it wasn't supposed to. Maybe our artisticness couldn't be appreciated. Bother.
Perspective number 3: We could all be in the wrong school.
My goodness. What's up with the satanic thing?! We definitely didn't want or need people to think of the toilet that way, did we? We could very well just blame the system of the school and the fact that exaggeration can go a very long way. Or was it the rumours? Maybe it's just the fact that there are far too 'holy' and close- minded people in the school. Chew can go ahead and be
kay poh for all we care. She didn't have to add Miss Kon into the picture. Serious.
Pespective number 4: Hello. It's just two colours.
My theory about colours is: Colours are just colours until you give a meaning to it, whether it be for the best or for the worse. It's really ironic to think that while red is an auspicious colour, it was apparantly thought wrong now. Black has always been black. I just don't get people at times
Red and black is a harmony of cool colours. It's
not Satanic. Please. To accept that is really easy. Interior designers choose red and black to make a room smaller than it seems. I was thinking of decorating my future house with cool colours.
Perspective number 5: We are
rebels and vandalisers.
I totally disagree with this perspective. I admit that we can be hell- raisers at times, we aren't bad. We didn't even know the terms and conditions for the CIP project, so we cannot be vandalisers. Phua has to be blamed for that. If we were rebels, we would have gone on strike a long time ago.
The good part is: There are people who loved the design for what it was and we all put in our efforts to do it. If we have to stick Powerpuff girl stickers and Strawberry Shortcake on the walls, I'm sorry but I won't do it. We are not in Primary school and I feel that the toilet design should be targetted at an older audience. :)
